Pumas Rugby Institute
The Pumas Rugby Institute was established by UXi Sport, as a development centre, focusing on specialty position and individual development of the players.
During the player’s years at the Institute, they are introduced to the Pumas style of play, in line with SARU High Performance development objective, coaching philosophies, as well as the unique culture of the Pumas; essentially assisting them in their transition from the junior ranks to senior rugby.
A great emphasis is put on the holistic development of the players. It is for this reason, that a student will be developed both as a rugby athlete as well as for a career in and after rugby.
